Meet Laura Reynolds, Senior Search Consultant – IT Practice
Laura was born and raised in Maryland. Before joining the CSP team in March of this year, she worked in Baltimore as a Director of Talent Acquisition, specifically in external cybersecurity. Currently, she lives in the suburbs of Bel Air, Maryland where she raises her young daughter.
Laura has worked within the IT recruiting space for around 13 years now. When she was approached by CSP to develop and launch an IT practice, she had no hesitation. “It was a no-brainer! I couldn’t ask for better people to be working with daily.”
Laura shared, “In my experience, I have found it rewarding to do the things that scare or challenge me.” Laura’s desire for a challenge led her to begin training for the Black Canyon 60k Ultra in Arizona. During the beginning of the pandemic, she developed a love for running which not only motivates her personally, but professionally today. Laura applies this same mentality to her career. She is confident that her motivation and strong ambition will guide her to take on new opportunities and grow the IT Practice at CSP.
From her experience as a Search Consultant, taking the time to make enduring connections and trusting in the process is everything. According to Laura, “Recruiting has always been a passion of mine, but I like that this role is truly relationship management. I firmly believe that if you focus on developing strong relationships and a deep understanding of your clients and candidates, the placements will come.”
When she is not running, you can find Laura anywhere outdoors whether that is swimming, biking, or enjoying fresh air! She also enjoys traveling– Italy is her absolute favorite destination. Anything that involves wine, cheese, bread, pasta, and astonishing views, and she is in!
