Intern of the Week – Myles Sefret

Happy Wednesday all! Today, we get the pleasure of wrapping up our first Intern of the Week series with Myles Sefret.

Myles is a hard-working, reliable, rising sophomore at the University of Michigan Ross School of Business. Equipped with a major in Business Administration, Myles is on the lookout for an internship that will take him in for the Summer of 2022.

Myles is in a unique position because he is open any internship that will help expose him to all facets of business. The ideal internship will inspire him and assist him in expanding upon his interest in the Finance industry. Although not looking for anything too specific, Myles’ strengths lie in networking and his proficiency with numbers and mathematics.

During his time at the University of Michigan, Myles exercises his work ethic as a Cashier at a local Pizza spot. In this role, he is able to apply his mathematical, customer service, and business administration skills outside of his time at university.

CSP Intern of the Week – Eric Pacheco

Eric Pacheco is a notable third-year student at Loyola University Maryland Sellinger School of Business and Management in Baltimore. He is expected to graduate in May 2023 with a double Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Economics and Finance.

Upon his graduation, Eric is hoping to secure a career that works closely with financial markets and analyzes investment opportunities as well as associated risks. Specifically, he is interested in the status of the economy as it is recovering from COVID-19 and the long-term impact that the pandemic will have on society and financial markets. His main professional goal is to help as many institutions, corporations, and individuals as possible in their pursuit of financial security and the management of their financials.

In addition to his professional goals, Eric is a member of Loyola’s division one men’s lacrosse team. Dedicating upwards of 30 hours per week to team functions, he has also devoted a substantial amount of time to his academics and has made the Dean’s list every semester. Through his lacrosse experiences, he has gained knowledge about leadership, teamwork, and competitiveness that gives him a competitive edge to be a successful member of a company and team. Eric values his involvement with the community; therefore, he would like to work for a firm whose principles align with his own.

Prior to entering the workforce, Eric is on the search for an internship in the Baltimore/D.C. area for the summer of 2022, precisely between early June to mid-end of August. CSP Intern of the Week – Prince Coulibaly

Today, we share the Intern of the Week spotlight with Prince Coulibaly. Prince is on the lookout for an internship that will prepare him for a career in Acquisitions, Asset Management, or any Commercial Real Estate related sector. He has successfully completed an internship with FCP, a $4.2 billion real estate investment firm, where he bore the responsibility for conducting market research and analyzing potential investment opportunities. In addition to his internship experience, Prince’s experience with Microsoft Excel, Financial Modeling, and Pro-Forma modeling ensures he is well equipped for his next role.

Currently, Prince is a ULI Young Leader at University of Maryland Baltimore County, studying to receive his B.A. in in Media and Communications in Spring 2023. He is recognized for being an active member of the Citizens Advisory Committee where he advises the Transportation Planning Board of Greater Washington with recommendations and suggestions for improved mobility options in the region.

Prior to his graduation, Prince has plans to secure an internship in the Maryland or Virginia areas between the dates of June 6th – August 8th, 2022. Prince is eager to find a company that will support him in expanding his familiarity in the Real Estate field, assist him in gaining further knowledge in differing asset types and classes, as well as further his experience and knowledge in Argus.

Intern of the Week – Matthew Mercado 

Matthew Mercado is a devoted, well-rounded third year Computer Science student at Mount St. Mary’s University. He is expected to graduate in May 2023 with the dedicated goal to find a Software Engineering or Web Development job with the modest goal of impacting people’s lives.

Accompanied by furthering his own education, Matthew continues to impact others’ lives today as a Peer Mentor for his University. Matthew assists dozens of students enrolled in Computer Science II with troubleshooting techniques and Java CS problem-solving.

Recognized not only for being a leader within his peers, Matthew is also recognized for being the sole website developer for ‘Escape This Frederick.’ The website successfully decreased user bounce rates from 53% to 21% as well as increased the company’s conversion rate from 2.5% to 4.5%. ‘Escape This Frederick’ is now recognized as one of the most popular escape rooms in Maryland. Matthew’s transformation from a standard “Game Master,” to Manager, to Web Developer, demonstrates his passion and ability to excel in the position he is in.

Matthew’s avid problem solving and ability to not only absorb valuable information, but also put it to its intended use has landed him a spot on the Dean’s List 3 semesters in a row and the President’s list this past semester. Matthew’s passion for coding is what motivates him to continue to learn new skills and technologies to prepare him for a professional career in his desired fields.

Currently, Matthew plans to start an internship as soon as his semester ends, beginning May 16th, wrapping up before his next semester begins, August 12th. Ideally, Matthew would prefer a Remote internship, but is open to internships in Maryland or Southern Pennsylvania.

CSP Intern of the Week – Ainsley Cline

Ainsley is a well-respected Junior Business Administration Major with minors in Management and Environmental Studies at Lebanon Valley College. She is currently working as a Peer Tutor and Study Pod Leader for various business courses at LVC. In addition to her dedication towards furthering the knowledge of her peers, Ainsley has made the Dean’s list for 4 consecutive semesters and has been elected Treasurer of the student-run dance team. Now elected President of her dance team, Ainsley’s commitment and enthusiasm in her schoolwork, occupation, and extracurriculars, showcases how deep her work ethic runs.

Upon her 2023 graduation, Ainsley is looking forward to developing a career in the fields of Human Resources or Recruiting and Talent Acquisition, with hopes to touch on her interests of Marketing and Event Planning as well. Ainsley’s anticipated internship dates are May 16th – August 12th, 2022. With the preference to stay within the PA, MD, VA, or DC areas, she is open to the idea of relocation around the United States.

Ainsley is looking for a company to sponsor her in her education journey—a company to value her well-developed leadership qualities, career goals, proficient Microsoft Office skills and ultimately be supportive in her professional development.
