Intern of the Week – Andrew Polun
Meet Andrew, an undergraduate student at Towson University’s College of Business and Economics, Honor College, majoring in Accounting with a minor in Finance. With an expected graduation date of Spring of 2025, Andrew is explicitly searching for a Spring 2024 internship in the Maryland area but is also open to Summer or Fall 2024 internships.
Andrew is ready to start working actively within the finance industry, specifically in investment banking, private equity, equity research, and asset management. He has taken numerous supporting classes at his university and is looking for an internship within one or a mix of these fields. The courses, ranging from the Principles of Finance to Financial Modeling, have taught him essential valuation techniques and sparked his fascination for the field.
Andrew is coachable, driven, and always willing to learn new material. He works well individually, but also thrives within a team setting. Time management is one of his strong suits since he has had to practice allocating his schedule after balancing three jobs, a full course schedule, extracurriculars, and studying for the CFA level 1 exam.
If you know of an internship opportunity within investment banking, private equity, equity research, or the asset management sector, please do not hesitate to reach out directly to Andrew at andrew.polun.work@gmail.com.
