Intern of the Week – Antonio Tolentino

Meet Antonio Tolentino, a senior at Loyola University majoring in Business Management. Antonio is looking for a full-time job opportunity in finance in the DMV beginning this summer.

Antonio’s professional experience includes a summer 2022 role with Greenspring Advisors in Towson. As an intern, he studied private and institutional clients, researched equity and fixed-income funds, and attended investment committee meetings. Before that, he supported company analysis at Winklevoss Capital where he conducted in-depth research on start-ups for acquisition, with the backing of the firm’s portfolio manager.

Antonio is actively involved with Loyola University. He’s a member of the Sellinger student advisory board as a DEI representative. He also represented Loyola in the CFA Research Challenge where he led his team in conducting in-depth research, culminating in a presentation of their recommendation on HB Fuller. At the Simon Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Antonio has been a career lead member for the last two years, planning and promoting business innovation and entrepreneurial panel discussions. Lastly, as a captain of the Men’s Club Basketball team since 2019, Antonio organizes tryouts, practices, tournaments, volunteering efforts, and budgets for the team. 

Outside of Loyola University, Antonio is enrolled in self-paced online courses that include Financial Modeling Certification, Adventis, and Bloomberg Market Concepts. His software proficiencies include Microsoft Office, Bloomberg Terminal, FI 360, Morningstar Advisor, Tamarac, Money Guide Pro, and TradingView.

Intern of the Week – Kwadwo (Kojo) Boadi

Meet Kwadwo, a senior at Towson University majoring in Business Systems and Processes. He’s looking for a Spring or Summer 2023 internship in Operations Management or Analysis in Financial Services.  

To date, Kwadwo has built his resume with internships, volunteering experiences, and supporting friends back in Ghana, helping to kickstart their Digital Marketing and Talent Management company. He serves in a volunteer role as the Impact Officer for Global Shaper’s Baltimore, a nonprofit under the World Economic Forum that leverages the talent of young leaders to support initiatives that build the city’s future. He also volunteers with Meals on Wheels Central Maryland.

Kwadwo has already acquired relevant skillsets, including a certification in Microsoft Excel and HubSpot Social Media Marketing, and is proficient in Tableau, R, and Microsoft Visio. His past internship roles were in Business Development and Operations at Lower.com and Insurance Analysis at Aflac.

Intern of the Week – Gabrielle (Rhys) Sequeira

Meet Rhys – Rhys is currently a Computer Science and French major at Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, New York. Before their projected graduation date of May 2025, Rhys is on the hunt for a Summer 2023 internship in the Computer Science realm.

Rhys is dedicated to finding a career that involves a great deal of coding. Right now, she has experience coding in Python, Java, Pyret, and OCaml systems. Finding an internship where she can continue to practice these skills will be ideal for achieving their goal to become a Software Developer. Additionally, Rhys speaks French and Spanish and is skilled in translating Latin.

Intern of the Week – Peter LoPresti

Peter is a Business Administration Student at Loyola University Maryland with a projected graduation date of May 2024. Peter focuses his studies on Marketing and Information Systems to best prepare himself for his entrepreneurial dream of running his own cafe.

Peter is seeking a Summer 2023 internship to begin in June where his strong suits of time management, leadership, organization, communication, and creative problem-solving can be utilized to their fullest extent.

Not only has Peter shown passion about starting a business of his own in his post-collegiate future, but he has also shown his altruistic nature through independently traveling to Kenya where he taught classes at an orphanage and raised over $6k to help build and repair their facilities.

Intern of the Week – Kyle Bansa

Kyle is a Financial Economics student at Towson University with a projected graduation date of December 2023. Kyle’s passion for corporate finance was originally cultivated from his love for his mother and her profession. Currently, his goals are to become a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and to utilize his quantitative financial skills to aid companies and clients alike.

Kyle is seeking a Summer 2023 internship between May 24th – August that is centered around finance: preferably in Investment Banking, Security & Equity Analysis, Business Analytics, and other quantitative finance spaces. Additionally, Kyle is certified in Microsoft Excel and is proficient in utilizing Tableau, STATA, and R. In his spare time, Kyle enjoys attending book club sessions in his residence hall.
