Meet Rachel Talbot, Search Consultant – Real Estate & Financial Services Practice
“I am thrilled to be working in a position where I get to support and guide people towards a fulfilling role, and, ultimately steer them to a career they love.”
For Rachel Talbot, a unique daily routine and CSP’s tight-knit team drew her to her current role at the professional search firm. “No day is ever quite the same at Chesapeake Search Partners. I’m connecting with new people every day, which enables me to continue growing my network while ultimately connecting people with companies that they can help strengthen. I was drawn to the size of the firm and the opportunity to work with a team that values relationships – both internally and externally. It seemed like a much different and welcoming experience than what I saw most of my peers moving toward after college.”
Rachel has already established a vast professional network in the Baltimore and D.C. metro regions. Born and raised in the Baltimore area, Rachel is a recent graduate of the University of Maryland with a degree in Marketing. Prior to CSP, she supported a major Timonium retail establishment with brand development, marketing, and client relations, She also worked at an online media network where she focused on connecting Baltimore families with local events and businesses.
Rachel resides in Federal Hill and enjoys experiencing new restaurants throughout the city. Currently, her favorite spots are AJs on Hanover and Blue Agave. Her free time is mostly spent with family on beach trips to Ocean City and traveling to new places like Costa Rica.

In 2021, Mark focused on his passion for helping people and building community and began his career in recruiting at CSP.

Meet the Team – Hannah Weiss, Search Consultant
Meet Hannah Weiss, Search Consultant – Human Resources Practice.
Hannah’s ties to Chesapeake Search Partners date back several years. “It was almost inevitable that I would land a role with the firm. From growing up with Johnny Black to being a job candidate, a contractor, and now, an internal recruiter with CSP, it seemed as if fate led me to where I was supposed to be,” said Hannah.
After graduating from UVA, Hannah began her professional career in Sales in Washington, D.C. A few years into her role, she craved a change and connected with a recruiting agency to learn about new opportunities in the region. After collaborating with her recruiter, Hannah realized she loved the experience and inquired about a role at the recruiting agency. She was hired by the firm, which launched her new career in recruiting. Hannah now brings more than seven years of recruiting experience to CSP in both agency and corporate recruitment environments.
“I realized I love the consultative side of recruiting and helping candidates find their next best role. I consider myself a ‘matchmaker’ and believe the best approach when working with both candidates and clients is to be transparent and genuine. Trust is key, and I see that my CSP colleagues share the same values.”
A Baltimore native, Hannah enjoys live music, especially jam bands and bluegrass festivals. She frequently travels to Maine as well as the Delaware Beaches – she was recently married to her husband Louey in Rehoboth Beach surrounded by an intimate group of family and close friends. Hannah is excited about her future in Baltimore where she plans to raise a family with a farm, garden, and dogs.

Meet Olivia Paff, Search Consultant – Human Resources Practice.
A Baltimore native, Olivia began her career as a preschool teacher. Continuing to explore her passion for helping people, Olivia transitioned to a corporate HR role. It was here she realized that she had an interest in a recruiting career.
“As a recruiter, I am drawn to the relationships I get to form with candidates and clients. The fact that I get to meet and connect with new people every day, and ultimately support them in their career path keeps me motivated.”
Olivia’s passion for people extends beyond her role at CSP. She appreciates the “Smalltimore” experience that Baltimore offers. Living in Canton, the chances are high of running into people she knows walking to local shops, farmer’s markets, and restaurants. Olivia is also a big fan of The Ravens, attending most home games at M&T Bank stadium.
Family is first and foremost in Olivia’s life. She is a board member of the Zachary T Paff Foundation, a cause that is near and dear to her heart. The foundation, established in her brother’s honor after his passing in 2019, aims to end the stigma of addiction while supporting young parents and adults with the cost of treatment.
Meet the Team – Rick Fribush, Partner, Practice Director
Meet Rick Fribush, CSP Co-founder, Managing Partner and Practice Director – Accounting and Finance.
Rick began his career as a CPA in public/corporate accounting. A few years into his role, he realized that his passion was focused more on building relationships and helping accountants develop their careers. He eventually transitioned into the recruiting side of the industry and has been focused on recruiting for accounting and finance roles in the mid-Atlantic region for the last 25 years.
“I am guided by two core beliefs in my career. The journey in career and life is a marathon, not a sprint. And doing business the right way is by always doing what I believe in my heart is best for the candidate.”
Rick has helped countless people to navigate their careers and has enjoyed watching them grow from young accountants to C-Suite roles. Today he leads a team of professionals at CSP who are helping to support the next generation of CFOs navigate their career paths.
No matter Rick’s role professionally, family is always his number one priority. He married his high school sweetheart, Hope, 28 years ago and together they have sons Alec and Brett and a daughter Jillian. “My parents are my biggest role model – they have been married for more than 58 years. I’ve learned from their relationship that it’s about the company you are with and not where you are. Having the opportunity to watch my kids grow into adults, and balance a career that enables me to spend ample time with them–from traveling to watching sports, and going out to dinners–has been the most rewarding experience.”
Outside of work and family, Rick enjoys working out, golfing, spending time with friends, and eating meals out as often as possible – especially from new restaurants.
