Senior Talent Acquisition Consultant

Laura Locke joined the CSP HR Consulting Team in 2023 and brings over 20 years of experience in Talent Acquisition. She has Global and Regional Talent Acquisition Leadership experience in small- and large-sized companies in: Manufacturing, Consumer Products, Industrial Machinery, Military & Government Contracting, Medical, Dentistry, and Industrial Gases & Chemicals.

As a Talent Acquisition Consultant, Laura is seen as a strategic business partner and is highly collaborative, building relationships at all levels of the organization. She is skilled in areas such as recruiting process improvement, upskilling recruiting teams, data analytics & reporting, manager training, candidate experience, vendor management, and applicant tracking systems.

Laura graduated from Loyola College in Maryland with an MBA and from Pennsylvania State University with a B.S. in Business Management. She holds her SHRM-SCP and sits on the Board of the Chesapeake Human Resources Association (CHRA).

 

JOHNNY BLACK

Partner, Practice Director - Real Estate & Financial Services

Johnny is a founding member of Chesapeake Search Partners and has been with the firm since its inception in 2013. He currently serves as Practice Director for the Real Estate & Financial Services Practice which was formed in 2016.

He joined the recruiting industry in 2008 as Lead Recruiter for the Banking & Finance practice, which included Real Estate placements, for Stephen James Associates. As he continued those efforts throughout his tenure with the firm, he realized there was a lack of support for the demand of a recruiting partner in these industries within the Baltimore/DC market and has since grown the practice to other markets.

Johnny graduated from Lynchburg College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and a minor in Communication.

RICK FRIBUSH

Partner, Practice Director - Accounting & Finance

Rick is a founding member of Chesapeake Search Partners and Practice Director for the Accounting & Finance Practice, facilitating all direct-hire and contractual searches within these fields. Rick began his career as a CPA in public/corporate accounting. He joined the recruiting industry in 1993 with The Mergis Group. He then went on to successfully lead the Accounting & Finance Practice for Stephen James Associates. As he continued those efforts throughout his tenure in the industry, he realized there was a lack of support for the demand of a recruiting partner in these industries within the Baltimore/DC market.

Rick graduated from Towson University with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
