Our Human Resources Recruiting Practice is led by Jason Nemoy, a former corporate head of recruiting and HR practitioner of 20+ years. The HR Practice team also includes Senior Search Consultant Hannah Weiss and Search Consultants Jackie Obrecht and Julia Rice, who bring an additional 25+ years of HR and recruiting experience to the table. With a combined extensive HR relationship network in the Baltimore/metro area, we strive to strategically connect HR candidates and clients in the most effective and collaborative way possible.

We specialize in Retained, Exclusive, and Contingent direct-hire recruitment of HR professionals. In addition, we provide contractual (temporary) HR support for our clients. Additional service offerings that complement the HR Practice include a diverse range of consulting from our HR Solutions team.

JOHNNY BLACK

Partner, Practice Director - Real Estate & Financial Services

Johnny is a founding member of Chesapeake Search Partners and has been with the firm since its inception in 2013. He currently serves as Practice Director for the Real Estate & Financial Services Practice which was formed in 2016.

He joined the recruiting industry in 2008 as Lead Recruiter for the Banking & Finance practice, which included Real Estate placements, for Stephen James Associates. As he continued those efforts throughout his tenure with the firm, he realized there was a lack of support for the demand of a recruiting partner in these industries within the Baltimore/DC market and has since grown the practice to other markets.

Johnny graduated from Lynchburg College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and a minor in Communication.

RICK FRIBUSH

Partner, Practice Director - Accounting & Finance

Rick is a founding member of Chesapeake Search Partners and Practice Director for the Accounting & Finance Practice, facilitating all direct-hire and contractual searches within these fields. Rick began his career as a CPA in public/corporate accounting. He joined the recruiting industry in 1993 with The Mergis Group. He then went on to successfully lead the Accounting & Finance Practice for Stephen James Associates. As he continued those efforts throughout his tenure in the industry, he realized there was a lack of support for the demand of a recruiting partner in these industries within the Baltimore/DC market.

Rick graduated from Towson University with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
