Rick is a founding partner of Chesapeake Search Partners and directs the firm’s Accounting & Finance searches, overseeing both direct-hire and contractual placements in these sectors. With a career rooted in public and corporate accounting as a CPA, Rick transitioned to the recruiting industry in 1993 with The Mergis Group. He later led the Accounting & Finance division at Stephen James Associates, recognizing the need for a dedicated recruiting partner in the Baltimore/DC market.

Rick leverages his extensive accounting background to specialize in placements across all levels within the Accounting and Finance industries. He is passionate about mentoring both candidates and clients through their career progression, emphasizing the importance of guidance and support. A Towson University graduate with a degree in Accounting, Rick remains deeply connected to his Baltimore roots, actively engaging in community initiatives that enhance his understanding of the local job market.
