Meet David, a senior at High Point University. He is pursuing a B.A. B.S. in Finance with a minor in Sales. He is expected to graduate in May 2024 and is actively searching for a summer internship that could lead to a permanent role in Investment Banking, Private Equity, or Private Credit. David is primarily focused on identifying opportunities in the Maryland, Washington, DC, and Arlington/McLean, VA, regions.
At High Point, David has taken several impressive classes such as Investment Analysis, Financial Modeling, Corporate Finance, Financial Derivatives, Negotiations, Fixed Income Analysis, and Sales in Dynamic Environments. He hopes to apply these concepts to the business world.
David has excelled academically and gained extensive internship experience at Carolina Acquisition Partners in North Carolina. While working there, he served as a Lower Middle Market Private Equity Analyst, which showcased his dedication and expertise in the field. Additionally, he developed a strong skillset, solidifying his experience in deal sourcing, due diligence, financial statement analysis, understanding of financial markets and instruments, interpersonal skills, problem-solving, attention to detail, and adaptability. These skills show that David is a talented and experienced individual and would be a valuable asset to any company.
