Meet Olivia Blake. Olivia is an undergraduate student at Penn State University, pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising. Olivia is seeking a Summer 2026 internship in communications or marketing in Maryland or the Washington, D.C. area, where she can gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, engaging setting.
Olivia brings a strong blend of academic excellence and real-world communications experience. She currently serves as an Assistant Account Executive with Happy Valley Comm, Penn State’s only student-run communications firm, where she supports multiple clients through brand and social media audits, strategic research, and creative execution. Previously, she worked as an Account Associate, contributing to market research and content development aligned with brand guidelines.
Additionally, Olivia is a Marketing and Communications Student Intern with Penn State Dickinson Law, where she creates on-trend marketing materials and provides visual support for the school’s social media. Her work includes graphic design, photography, and event coverage. She has also held a Social Media Intern role with Penn State’s Office of Student Leadership and Involvement, creating short-form content while adhering to strict brand standards.
Beyond her professional roles, Olivia is an active Penn State THON Volunteer, having served on the Hospitality Committee during her time at Penn State. She is also a member of Alpha Omicron Pi, demonstrating a strong commitment to service, teamwork, and campus involvement.
Olivia’s skills include client relations, professional writing, content creation, graphic design (specifically Canva and Adobe), video editing, photography, and social media management, along with professional proficiency in Spanish.
