Meet Peter, a graduate student at Loyola University Maryland in Baltimore. He is completing his Master of Business Administration and is expected to graduate in August 2024. Last May, Peter received his Bachelor of Business Administration, double majoring in both Finance and Marketing.
Peter is seeking a Summer 2024 internship in Investment Banking, Private Equity, and/or Venture Capital, ideally with the potential to transition into a full-time Financial Analyst role. He is particularly interested in opportunities in the Baltimore-Washington D.C. region or New York City.
During his undergraduate studies, Peter participated in a student applied portfolio class where he gained practical experience managing $500,000 from the university’s funds. This hands-on experience immersed him in various facets of portfolio management, encompassing asset valuation, diversification, portfolio optimization, asset selection, risk management, performance evaluation, and rebalancing. This exposure ignited his passion for finance and provided invaluable insights into the dynamics of the corporate business landscape.
Peter holds Bloomberg Market Concepts and Salsify Foundations certifications and is proficient in Morningstar, S&P Capital IQ, SAP, and Microsoft Office, including Excel. He possesses strong public speaking abilities, enabling him to present data effectively. Known for his decisive nature, Peter is a skilled decision-maker and a dedicated team player. Additionally, while pursuing his MBA, Peter has been able to travel to various domestic and international destinations to study different companies’ diverse business models and strategies.
