Meet Gianna Aguirre, Search Consultant at CSP

Gianna joined Chesapeake Search Partners in August 2024, driven by a passion for creating meaningful connections between clients and candidates. As a Search Consultant, she thrives in the collaborative, dynamic environment CSP fosters, where teamwork and clear communication are key. “I love helping clients navigate the recruitment process and supporting candidates as they take the next step in their careers,” Gianna shares.

Originally from Blue Bell, Pennsylvania, a suburb of Philadelphia, Gianna has lived in Baltimore since graduating from West Chester University in 2020. Now settled in the Canton area, she enjoys spending weekends trying new restaurants with her boyfriend, playing with their two kittens, and practicing yoga. Looking ahead, Gianna is excited about her upcoming trip to California next September, marking a personal milestone as she visits the Golden State for the first time. Professionally, she expresses her excitement about expanding her network within the Baltimore area and growing with CSP.

What Gianna finds most rewarding in her role is helping young professionals navigate the job search process. “I graduated during the pandemic and understand how overwhelming the job market can feel,” she reflects. “Being able to support candidates during this time and guide them toward opportunities that excite them is incredibly fulfilling.” Gianna joined CSP after working remotely for some time, feeling the need to find a firm that valued collaboration and community. “I love that CSP leadership encourages the team to network and attend community events. I also enjoy helping others find opportunities that fill their cup,” she says.

As a Search Consultant, Gianna sees the importance of her role in ensuring a smooth recruitment process. “From initial sourcing to preliminary screens, multiple interviews, an offer letter, potential negotiation, and counteroffers, to the day the new hire starts takes a lot of communication, time management, and transparency from all parties involved,” she explains. “We work hard to take the weight off our clients and provide great support to our candidates throughout the process to ensure we are setting them up for success.”

When asked about the challenges of her role, Gianna notes the fast-paced, candidate-driven market. “Timing is everything in recruitment. Staying organized and communicative is key to making sure we don’t miss out on great candidates during the process.” Outside of work, Gianna dreams of traveling to Greece, inspired by the country’s rich history and beautiful landscapes. Until then, she’s focused on building lasting connections and making an impact within the Baltimore community and at CSP.
