Meet Laura Locke, Senior Talent Acquisition Consultant – HR Solutions
Laura Locke brings a wealth of experience in talent acquisition and recruitment strategy to Chesapeake Search Partners. As a Senior Talent Acquisition Consultant, she joined the CSP team in March 2023 and quickly became an integral part of Chesapeake HR Solutions’ success. “I have had the opportunity to partner with clients across various industries, solving unique recruiting challenges, restructuring processes, training management teams, and laying the foundation for future success in their recruiting functions,” Laura explains.
Her journey began in Baltimore, MD, where she grew up on Sue Creek. “I spent my summers swimming, boating, crabbing, and fishing,” she recalls. Since 2008, she has lived in Churchville, MD, with her husband, and during her free time, she enjoys staying active through weightlifting, CrossFit, HYROX workouts, running, hiking, and gardening.
Laura’s passion for continuous learning and improvement in the Talent Acquisition space drives her professionally. “I find it incredibly rewarding to be part of a professional community that continuously enhances the Talent Acquisition profession and creates opportunities for recruiting professionals to showcase their skills and abilities and truly be a business partner to their organizations. I enjoy meeting and learning from Talent Acquisition and HR professionals worldwide, sharing ideas and best practices, and preparing for the future of the field,” she says.
A seasoned traveler, Laura and her husband have explored several destinations over the past 18 years, including Bruges, Prague, Dublin, Inverness, and Munich. She recalls hiking the Swiss Alps and paragliding in Telluride, Colorado, for her 50th birthday as some of her most thrilling adventures.

When Laura isn’t solving recruiting challenges or building relationships with her peers, she loves to spend her weekends outdoors, staying active, and relaxing with family and friends.
