Meet the Team – Olivia Paff, Search Consultant

Meet Olivia Paff, Search Consultant – Human Resources Practice.  

A Baltimore native, Olivia began her career as a preschool teacher.  Continuing to explore her passion for helping people, Olivia transitioned to a corporate HR role. It was here she realized that she had an interest in a recruiting career.  

“As a recruiter, I am drawn to the relationships I get to form with candidates and clients. The fact that I get to meet and connect with new people every day, and ultimately support them in their career path keeps me motivated.” 

Olivia’s passion for people extends beyond her role at CSP.  She appreciates the “Smalltimore” experience that Baltimore offers. Living in Canton, the chances are high of running into people she knows walking to local shops, farmer’s markets, and restaurants. Olivia is also a big fan of The Ravens, attending most home games at M&T Bank stadium.

Family is first and foremost in Olivia’s life.  She is a board member of the Zachary T Paff Foundation, a cause that is near and dear to her heart. The foundation, established in her brother’s honor after his passing in 2019, aims to end the stigma of addiction while supporting young parents and adults with the cost of treatment.   

CSP Intern of the Week – Prince Coulibaly

Today, we share the Intern of the Week spotlight with Prince Coulibaly. Prince is on the lookout for an internship that will prepare him for a career in Acquisitions, Asset Management, or any Commercial Real Estate related sector. He has successfully completed an internship with FCP, a $4.2 billion real estate investment firm, where he bore the responsibility for conducting market research and analyzing potential investment opportunities. In addition to his internship experience, Prince’s experience with Microsoft Excel, Financial Modeling, and Pro-Forma modeling ensures he is well equipped for his next role.

Currently, Prince is a ULI Young Leader at University of Maryland Baltimore County, studying to receive his B.A. in in Media and Communications in Spring 2023. He is recognized for being an active member of the Citizens Advisory Committee where he advises the Transportation Planning Board of Greater Washington with recommendations and suggestions for improved mobility options in the region.

Prior to his graduation, Prince has plans to secure an internship in the Maryland or Virginia areas between the dates of June 6th – August 8th, 2022. Prince is eager to find a company that will support him in expanding his familiarity in the Real Estate field, assist him in gaining further knowledge in differing asset types and classes, as well as further his experience and knowledge in Argus.

Baltimore Business Journal also ranks CSP as No. 10 Temporary Staffing Firm

Intern of the Week – Matthew Mercado 

Matthew Mercado is a devoted, well-rounded third year Computer Science student at Mount St. Mary’s University. He is expected to graduate in May 2023 with the dedicated goal to find a Software Engineering or Web Development job with the modest goal of impacting people’s lives.

Accompanied by furthering his own education, Matthew continues to impact others’ lives today as a Peer Mentor for his University. Matthew assists dozens of students enrolled in Computer Science II with troubleshooting techniques and Java CS problem-solving.

Recognized not only for being a leader within his peers, Matthew is also recognized for being the sole website developer for ‘Escape This Frederick.’ The website successfully decreased user bounce rates from 53% to 21% as well as increased the company’s conversion rate from 2.5% to 4.5%. ‘Escape This Frederick’ is now recognized as one of the most popular escape rooms in Maryland. Matthew’s transformation from a standard “Game Master,” to Manager, to Web Developer, demonstrates his passion and ability to excel in the position he is in.

Matthew’s avid problem solving and ability to not only absorb valuable information, but also put it to its intended use has landed him a spot on the Dean’s List 3 semesters in a row and the President’s list this past semester. Matthew’s passion for coding is what motivates him to continue to learn new skills and technologies to prepare him for a professional career in his desired fields.

Currently, Matthew plans to start an internship as soon as his semester ends, beginning May 16th, wrapping up before his next semester begins, August 12th. Ideally, Matthew would prefer a Remote internship, but is open to internships in Maryland or Southern Pennsylvania.

CSP Intern of the Week – Ainsley Cline

Ainsley is a well-respected Junior Business Administration Major with minors in Management and Environmental Studies at Lebanon Valley College. She is currently working as a Peer Tutor and Study Pod Leader for various business courses at LVC. In addition to her dedication towards furthering the knowledge of her peers, Ainsley has made the Dean’s list for 4 consecutive semesters and has been elected Treasurer of the student-run dance team. Now elected President of her dance team, Ainsley’s commitment and enthusiasm in her schoolwork, occupation, and extracurriculars, showcases how deep her work ethic runs.

Upon her 2023 graduation, Ainsley is looking forward to developing a career in the fields of Human Resources or Recruiting and Talent Acquisition, with hopes to touch on her interests of Marketing and Event Planning as well. Ainsley’s anticipated internship dates are May 16th – August 12th, 2022. With the preference to stay within the PA, MD, VA, or DC areas, she is open to the idea of relocation around the United States.

Ainsley is looking for a company to sponsor her in her education journey—a company to value her well-developed leadership qualities, career goals, proficient Microsoft Office skills and ultimately be supportive in her professional development.
